To ensure you have the best possible experience at Feelgood, please read the following for your comfort and wellbeing.
For your privacy and to enable me to comply within Covid-19 guidelines, Feelgood Skin Centre operates a practitioner and client only policy. Please arrive alone and no more than 5 minutes early for your appointment. Arriving before this may mean the salon is not prepared for you and you may have to wait outside.
If you need assistance with your appointment, or are under the age of 16, an appropriate adult may attend your appointment. The chaperone will need to wear a face covering throughout and socially distance where possible.
While the government guidelines advise face coverings, please ensure you arrive with yours. Your face covering may be removed inside the treatment room only.
I feel 10 minutes for clients to get undressed/dressed is sufficient time so please do not attend with unnecessary amounts of jewellery or clothing as removal of items may waste your treatment time. If you need more time please mention at the time of booking.
A lined sanitised box with a lid is provided for all of your belongings, please use this and do not place your belongings on work the surfaces.
I have toilet facilities which may be used. Please use the sanitising wipes provided afterwards and leave as you would wish to find.
For your comfort I can provide you with a sealed plastic bottle of water. If you are concerned about this for whatever reason, please arrive with your own refreshments and store in the box provided.
To make the most of your experience please ensure your mobile telephone is switched off or on silent mode throughout your appointment.
The salon is thoroughly sanitised between appointments and appropriate time is booked out for this. This timeframe also ensures there is no crossover of clients.
My business survives on me treating clients so please be aware I require a minimum of 48 hours notice for all cancellations or rearrangements of an appointment. Failure to do this or simply not turn up will incur a minimum charge of £15 per half hour (unless I can fill that space). Please be aware that I am not unsympathetic to a genuine emergency and I do not want clients to attend appointments if they are ill or have been required to isolate due to Covid-19.
As much as I love children and babies, they are not permitted within the salon as my insurance does not provide for this. When booking your appointment please ensure you have made suitable childcare arrangements.
I will provide a safe, hygienic environment where everyone is treated equally. I will always present myself in the best professional manner possible.
Anything discussed with me is in the strictest conference. If I feel anything discussed within my premises places you or another person in danger I will seek advice from the appropriate authorities.
I will provide treatments and services in a professional manner and only carry out treatments that I am qualified & insured to do.
I understand that some of you like a “natter” however I will be guided by you and I’m completely happy to carry out treatments in silence.
If I feel a more appropriate treatment should be done I will make you aware of this.
I will provide a recycling service for your empty products I will dispose of all waste appropriately. All clinical waste is collected by Envirotec (whom I have a contract with) I am registered with Kirklees Council and licensed to carry out Electrolysis and Advanced Electrolysis
Wherever possible I work with single use disposable items only (ethically sourced and biodegradable where possible) This includes all needles, blades and linens used on the face and upper body. All other linens are single client only and laundered.
